• Account information: Your email address and password when you create an account.
• Resume and career data: Resume content, work history, skills, education, and other information you enter into the Service.
• Job search activity: Job listings you view, save, or shortlist within FedJobs.
• Payment information: Subscription and billing data processed by Stripe and RevenueCat. FedJobs does not store your full credit card number.
• Usage data: Pages visited, features used, and interactions with the Service, collected via Google Analytics.
• Device and browser data: IP address, browser type, and operating system collected automatically when you use the Service.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide, operate, and improve the FedJobs Service
• Generate AI-powered resume content and job fit analysis
• Process subscription payments and manage your account
• Send transactional emails such as account confirmation and billing receipts
• Analyze usage patterns to improve the Service
• Respond to support requests sent to support@fedjobs.co

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

4. Third-Party Services

FedJobs uses the following third-party services which may process your data:

• Supabase – authentication and database storage
• Stripe – payment processing
• RevenueCat – subscription management
• Anthropic – AI-powered resume and job analysis (resume content is sent to Anthropic's API to generate results)
• USAJOBS / Office of Personnel Management – federal job listing data
• Google Analytics – usage analytics
• Vercel – web hosting and infrastructure

Each of these services has its own privacy policy governing its use of your data.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account and resume data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or billing purposes.

6. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure authentication via Supabase, and access controls to protect your data. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Opt out of analytics tracking by using browser privacy tools or ad blockers

FedJobs is not directed at children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, contact us at support@fedjobs.co and we will delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the effective date above. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
